HSD Retail contacted me as they were in the market for a new designer to develop a new online brand.
Initial the brief was to create a branding style and to develop an existing website with the new style.
This lead to other areas of the ecommerce site. Creating stylish new sliders using Revolution Slider, bugfix and create a slick UX customer experience.
The owner commissioned me to tackle the websites speed issue.
Using various well know technics for problem WordPress sites, where page speed can be a major problem.
With many WordPress sites using WooCommerce, plugins can have drastic effect on page speed. Some of the issues have been solved.
But a trade off of PageSpeed Insights was inevitable due to the complexity of the site.
